A very impressed first time Earth Tech Customer
October 31, 2024
I had never heard of this website/company, but they offered the best deal on the DPU. Shipping was really quick. I got my battery less than a week after ordering, and a day later, my inverter arrived. The tracking and updates were spot on. I even emailed them while my order was processing and they agreed to accommodate my request and ship me the upgrade for free.
Pros
- 1. Split phase power 120/240v
- 2. Passthrough, you can have 120v AC charge and output 120/240v simultaneously.
- 3. Connect to your transfer switch and solar and or AC to recharge the unit without unplugging from the transfer switch
Best Uses
- This is the brain of my manual whole-home backup system.
- I plan to recharge via a dual-fuel generator or solar with 1800w AC and, or 600w solar. 3 hours runtime or 8 hours on Sun to top off 6kwh battery. I have enough propane to run the basics for a month with this plan.
Cons
- Initial cost
- Cost to expand

Received inverter first, 2 weeks later received battery, no fault to Earthtech, Ecoflow flash sale put orders behind but so far seams to work great! Very happy with product. Top Quality!
Merchant Response:We apologize for the battery delay. Certainly not typical and likely a result of the popularity of these products currently. Thank you for the kind feedback!
Pros
- Got wheels to roll around!
Cons
- Very heavy, not great for portability!

Worth It
July 2, 2024
After owning several Delta Pros, which I liked but found their 1600-watt inverter limiting for daily usage, I purchased the Delta Ultra. This new model is a serious upgrade over the Delta Pro. It's impressively quiet, and its two batteries exceed the capacity of three Delta Pros. However, be warned that this unit is heavy! Even though I work out regularly and lift weights, I can confidently say the average person will have trouble moving it alone.
One important thing to note is that the inverter on this unit uses about 35 watts per hour just being on. While that doesn’t sound like much, over 24 hours, it accounts for about 14% of one of the Delta Ultra batteries. On the bright side, one of the best features is its ability to generate graphs showing power generated and outputted, which is very useful. I highly recommend this product. If you're coming from a Delta Pro, you will be pleasantly surprised by how silent it is.
Cons
- Weight!

Excellent performance EcoFlow
May 17, 2024
The Ecoflow system expansion battery presented no communicates problems with the base which is important, not the same with the Anker model that I order which did show serious problems communicating with its base.
The Ecoflow Pro powers up our home with ac/heating system without trouble, just needs more battery so it can last longer than 24 hours.
The Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra PowerStation has no problems working up to this time that I can observe, excellent.
Best Uses
- The Ecoflow with one expansion battery the max it can power a home is one day. Only good for 24 hours of use with little use of power. Highly recommend more battery's for longer use and or more hungry power items at home.
Cons
- I need more time to evaluate this model to see how it holds up.
