First solar panels
May 15, 2017
I just received my Boulder 100 Briefcase Solar, and have not yet tried it. However, I am forced to question why the glass part of the panels is on the outside when folded. If the panels faced each other when folded surely that would offer more protection against damage for them. i like the idea that the panels do not require any installation to charge my Goal Zero Yeti 400, so it will not be necessary to drill holes into the roof of my RV. Earth Tech provided free shipping and handling as well as an additional 10% off the $****** price shown, so that was a good deal compared to other manufacturers.
ProsPanels should have been made to fold towards eachother, to protect glass surfaces.
ConsNeed to put padding on glass when inside carry case to prevent damage when being transported when not in use.
